I merged your two threads, stephen.bryer. Easier for everyone if we keep the discussion in one place.

You mean the test Monde suggested with testing between pins 4/5 and 16 at the DLC? If you got 12V in both measurements with the key on, that's a good result.

If you're in danger of getting in trouble with the missus, you're probably better off giving it a break for now and coming at it fresh tomorrow.

OK checking all pins for voltage I have in order pin1 no pin2 no pin
pin3 2 volts pin4 0 volt
pin5 0 volts pin6 4volts pin7 0
volts no pins till eleven and it has 2 volts then nothing till pin 16 and has 12 volts

SCI on 6 & 7 for powertrain and CCD on 3 & 11. Pin 7 is also used for OBD-II and that is the only thing you'll be able to communicate with. And it's a no comm?

4V on pin 6 points to a problem with the PCM 5V reference same as the readings you took at the sensors. Sounds like either something pulling down the Vref, PCM power or ground, or the earlier wiring problem damaged the PCM.

I appreciate your help and I just wondering why I have only two volts on each two point five twisted pair going to all sensors 4. Is that like 5 volts and 2.5 on each and together makes the five volts references and on my tps ground bk/white getting one volt does that mEan 5 - 1=4 so short to ground
