Ran across it on a 2.4 as well , soft reset seemed to cure it.

Just curious why we are all using the term "soft reset"
I've always called it a "cap discharge"?
Thanks so much!

Hmm good question... I blame it on Tyler! Lol I usually call it a hard reset (from the phone company telling you to unplug your modem for 30 seconds even though you've tried that 100x already) I haven't heard it called cap discharge but admittedly I have missed quite a few videos .....

I got the 'Soft Reset' term from a Motor Age article years ago. Don't recall who wrote it... I'll see if I can dig it up.

Anyway, congrats on the fix!

Cap discharge didn't work. I'm having Danner take the serp belt off next.

Hit the Cam/Crank Relearn in the scan tool, if you haven't already.

Unfortunately this model isn't offering us this option. Danner tried with his Solus Legend and I looked through all the functions on my Autel Ultra. No dice
I believe it is an 07 Liberty 2.4

Posting has been very slow for me for a week or two with Firefox on Windoze. IIRC that started before right click was partially enabled.

Test to see if this works with new post editor??

What kind of memory resets does the Snappy provide? That soft/hard/cap reset should have worked...

This "quote" thing sucks too! You guys need to let me know about these things! As soon as I posted I was like, ah, hell no, this isn't gonna work lol. Email me at support@scannerdanner.com and then also cc webmaster@scannerdanner.com for this type of stuff. Thanks for the help. I need to know where the problems are to fix them

The whole quote thing started this afternoon.

I thought taking a long time to post was just me. For me, it coincided with a Chrome update.

I thought the slow posting was something on my end too. Just mentioned it now so you didn't think it and the jacked up quotes were part of the same problem.
