:lol: It is kinda steep, huh? That's why I try to take multiple recert tests in a given testing period.
But hey, you do get a shiny piece of paper! That makes no difference to your pay rate whatsoever

Yes.
There's a lot of fools who consider themselves "mechanics". Many of whom I wouldn't let check my oil.
The patch and certificate in no means makes me a better tech than anyone else, but I feel it does differentiate myself from the group of A-holes with a box full of wrenches who do more harm than good.
