That Autel AL539. Scanner, multimeter, and Amazon has them with one day shipping for $100? Holy value Batman!
Who do I talk to at Autel to send me a demo unit? :silly:

Check's in the mail.
Have you tried the software update function on your AL539? I saw it mentioned in the manual and tried it out for giggles. Now the splash screen doesn't show up, and none of the main menu icons are there, just the text. I have regrets. :silly:
Otherwise, this thing is fantastic! Mode $06 is better than my Modis Ultra on Enhanced OBDII vehicles. Even the multimeter did a better job than it should have while testing a CAN network:

Hello
Just checked. Because you chose wrong language.
Please follow the steps below.
1. Choose ff 00 00 01 00 09
2. Then choose ff 00 00 01 00 68
3. Then choose any code.
4. It will show languages options, please choose the language you want.
Note: If there is no ff 00 00 01 00 68 in the second step, please try three options to find the languages setting page.
Thanks.

That's a good idea, though. If that doesn't work, I may just leave it. :silly: As long as the functionality is still there, I'm happy.

The PID/TID translations for Enhanced OBD2 are on point. Pretty sure my Modis doesn't offer this.
Also decided to see what kind of fuse is installed for the ammeter. The manual mentions popping the fuse, but doesn't specify what kind of fuse or how to replace it.

The Nexas NL102P {"P" for "Plus"}. Nexas NL102P
I will test all of the tools then sell the ones I don't want/need.
The Nexas 102P could be a game changer if it does what they say it does.
12v cars 24v trucks, full system scanner and DPF regeneration - all for $100!.
I will start a new blog involving all of the scan tools I have acquired and keep adding to it as I use the various tools - then re-write it in a few months with my conclusion{s}.
I work at an auto electrical shop that does a large variety of vehicles - in New Zealand we also have "AU Ford and Holden" and Japanese imports that use the "JOBD" protocol so scan tools are tested to their limits of 'weirdness'
