My auction buy's airbag left side sensor post repair diagnosed with Launch Diag2 and cleared. Repair then confirmed with scope. Before new part fitted it was flat lined - water ingress, Same basic impact sensor is used by many other Euro boxes.

These impact sensors are only 2 wire but have a processor, at key on they do a self test and if it passes the sensor signals to the air bag control module by pulling down the power line for a few ms.
The front impact sensor on this Chevy truck in Paul's video is similar

Got it, thank you!
That first rounded hump coming off ground was unexpected for me. I would have guessed that there would have been only high-low signatures.

So if I do as he says (Paul) and use my scanner/scope (Modis Edge) the same way you reckon I'll get the same confirmation for good or bad side impact sensors on my 06 chevy impala (created thread before I saw this one, you'll get a laugh about the dealer diagnosis) and be able to solve my problem once and for all? (See my thread or combine if mine helps or adds to this or vice versa)
