Hello, Name is Dave G. over 60 now and have owned many vehicles and have rebuilt several of their engines. ..well.. To be clear, I have disassembled engines; brought heads  to shops for cleaning ,complete valve jobs, blocks go for cleaning, new cam bearings , magna-flux, new freeze-out plugs and cylinder honing along with crank polishing and measuring for oversized bearings, pistons get the same cleaning and inspection. At the house,  I do stuff like plastic gauge the crank and rod bearings, install rings,  cleaning the entire engine compartment, throttle body  hydraulic lifters and rods, paint block ,oil pan, valve covers....then I get to reassemble all that shinny stuff, set timing, do main oil seals , front trans pump seal and ,start it up ,,and make it go for another 100,000 miles.. lol ..also swapped out a few transmissions, cv axels, wheel hubs,... did a LOT of brakes, and plugged a lot of tires teaching and showing my kids along the way..  We have had as many as 6 drivers in the house with car for each plus 2 spares. 3 kids out on their own now so 3 drivers remain with the 2 spares. 1 spare in use, the  other is the post regarding a 1996 Buick Skylark. If a mechanical repair is all it needed, it would be done by now..!  my daily driver is a 1993 Mercury Villager. yes with racing stripes, courtesy of friends.. lol picture wont load. oh well.

Aloha to All,
I am weak on electrical. I came across a posting by Dan trouble shooting with 3 students. I loved all the info and clear explanation oi the whole process. I do most of all my own work on my Toyota Pickup 2.4 22RE base 5 spd which can't get to run. Wish all who are present, Da Ai - Greatest Love.
