William from Italy

Hi everyone, my name is William and I'm from Italy. I've found scanner danner on youtube and i really appreciate the videos. I'm into mechanical engeneering and I usally work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999 4.7L V8 and Dodge Dakota 2000 4.7L V8. I recently had some problem on my Jeep, a random crank and no start.

Hi and welcome to the forum ! What part of Italy are you from ?

I’m from Bergamo, a city in the North of Italy near Milan

I have visited Bergamo a couple of times we have been vacationing in Sirmione for several years in May to watch the 1000 Miglia. We really enjoy all of Lombardy it is wonderful area of Italy with the wonderful historic towns and villages and the Dolomites the food and wine!

Sirmione is wonderfull and 1000 Miglia is a great event, it also comes through Bergamo. Here in Bergamo we have the Historic grand prix, a car event that uses the walls of the upper town as a circuit and you can partecipate only with certain cars like in the 1000 Miglia. A friend of mine has a body shop and works a lot with mille miglia cars, and is crazy to see these old cars used in a race ahah but it's the charm of the event. Next time you come to italy let me know

Bergamo had such a tough time at the start of the pandemic, we kept a daily on the reports and numbers from Lombardy and the Veneto concerend for the friends we have made on our visits to Sirmione, hopefully the virus is now beaten and normality will return to to all of Europe.
