This engine is on a test stand. I have converted my engine harness to a stand alone. Have not taken the Vatts out of any of the 4 ECM's which I have tried. Do I need to disable the Vatts in order to get a 5 volt reference? I have all of my 12 volt circuits at the ecm and all of my grounds grounded to my 12 volt battery negative post. Thanks!

If the ECM has all its powers and ground, and they are all good, you should have a 5v Ref. I would check your wiring harness to make sure the 5v Ref is not shorted.

I do not have any 5 volt reference signals. Can 1 shorted circuit disable all of them? Thanks!
