Hello everyone
My name is Pall Straumberg and I am writing this from Iceland.
(Pall is usually translated to English as Paul)
I am a professional automotive tech, with just over nine years in the field, I have worked both at dealers as well as at independent shops.
I currently am at the Hyundai dealer in Iceland.
The training for technicians in Iceland is very limited and what is available is antiquated.
I recently discovered the ScannerDanner YouTube channel and there is a lot of great info on there. I will start with the YouTube vids and see if I maybe join the premium one day.
I usually am not very active on forums since I am active in the classic car scene and the motorsport scene in Iceland and that does not leave much time for forum time. You can see some of my fun on instagram @straumberg
As a side note I studied the electronic engineer before going in too the automotive industry but never finished that school, so I have a decent base understanding of electronics so I usually get the topic at hand fairly quickly.
Since we speak Icelandic in Iceland English is my second language so I am sorry for any spelling or grammer errors.
