Hello my name is Bob I grow up in the 60's & 70's the son of a gear head and jack of all trades type of guy and my hero. Tools in my hands as far back as I can remember. He was a tool maker by trade and Mechanic by choice a problem solver and always working on someones car in our driveway. Long before autos had computers, sensors when they had carburetors, points, condensers leaded gasoline and no catalytic converter. That being said I've never paid someone else to work or repair my cars or motorcycles and have managed to keep them running. But in today's world it's getting tougher to diagnose and troubleshoot a automobile without not only a code reader / scanner but the solid understanding of how to use and interpret such a needed tool in this present age. I have no delusions of being a professional mechanic but I do believe I can learn to diagnose and troubleshoot my own as well as my daughters vehicles. I'm grateful to have found Paul's youtube videos and book to help me in my quest, as well as this community to lean on and learn from.
