Hi from North West England

Hi, I've been doing auto repairs since I was about 8.
I think my first ECU repair was replacing a failed driver transistor in the ignition module for a Lada back in the early 80s, when I was about 12.
My background is mainly electronics and I have recently been doing some module repairs for a local auto-electrician.
Historically the core business was reconditioning starter motors, dynamos and alternators, but he also does non engine-performance electrics on vehicles, such as lights, wipers, power windows etc.
We've been updating both ourselves and the shop equipment as the trend continues for historically simple accessories like power windows to move from hard wired simple switch systems through resistive divider inputs to LIN and CAN and therefore the need to have J2534 kit to program replacement units.
