I'm Ed Medina, I'm a retired US Navy Boatswains Mate Petty Officer 1st Class, I've been retired almost 8 years and I can only do so much crabbing, fishing , shrimping and hunting. I got bored and I needed to learn something new. I own 5 cars and trucks. SOOOO, Happy to be here! Learning and going over every video at least twice. Usually pick up something I missed the first time watching. I really recommend watching this stuff on a big smart TV. Is like being in the classroom. KEEP DOING YOUR THING SD!!!!!! I tried sitting at the table with an iPad and headphones and THE BOOK and the little 9 " screen just would not do. If anyone is interested in broadcasting the videos to the smart TV's download the mirror app all screen receiver to the TV and then download a mirror app to your iPhone , iPad or android and the magic happens on a big screen! Also knowledge of how an oscilloscope , a microprocessor and micro integrated circuits work really ties this class together. Watching all the YouTube videos first makes following page by page easy. I just wanted to say hello to everyone who is doing this ! Thank YOU for everything SD!

Welcome good to have you here, there are a few us older guys and also quite a few ex-service men. I wasn't in the services but I was a seafarer British Merchant Navy (BP Tanker ).
