So here's me

HEllO SCANNERDANNERLAND!!
I'm from MI. I decided to turn wrenches in 95, as my girl (now wife) was pregnant, and the local tech school offered an auto degree. Plus, I liked cars and stuff.
My "degree" got me a job as a tire buster, promoted to alignment lof tech, then underbody (Suspention and brakes). I moved to the sticks and took a job as a Diag and repair tech. For 3 years, I worked under a brilliant tech that was a jerk. I learned a thing or 2 though. Got another job as a Tech and worked my way to manager of the busiest shop in town. The owner sold and the new owners were really bad, so I got a new job as an all around tech..which is now the busiest shop in town. So, along the way I bought a solus pro and a vantage pro. I've always had a drive to improve my abilities.
I came across a scannerdanner video while trying to figure out how to do a relative compression test. His way of doing real world Diagnostics in a way that I can relate to is just what I need to move to the next level.
So if u so the math thats 22 years of experience in auto tech and marrage.

That is one truck load of experience -- and life you are very welcome here, you will find we are a pretty varied bunch but we have all that need to learn and think our way those tricky problems that come into the shop.
