Greetings! I consider myself an amateur mechanic, though I've been messing with mechanical stuff for awhile. I am educated as a civil engineer and currently work in energy conservation and load management. For a hobby, I'm restoring an old army truck, a former-US Army Reserve 1995 AM General M35A3 2 1/2-ton cargo truck.
Over the past few years, I've been learning how to work more on my daily drivers to save myself mechanic labor costs. Now that I've learned how to use the Torque app on my phone to pull data trends in CSV format, I decided to join here hoping to turn my car parts-loaded blunderbuss into a guided missile. I want to learn how to better interpret OBD2 trend data to get myself to conduct repairs quicker and at less cost to myself.
