Why is right click disabled?

As the titles says: Why is right click disabled on the forum? This is super annoying as the browser spell checker will flag a misspelled word but I cannot right click on it to change it. This is only an issue on this website...

Right click got disabled on the forums back in March as a security measure. It's definitely inconvenient, I know.

Let me talk to the admin, see if that's something we can change.

Doesn't seem to be stopping the, just signed up, spammers from pasting stuff into posts. Though I guess it might be confusing some of the less 'puter literate ones??

If the forum software will allow it maybe enable right click based on a members post count. That should prevent most of the problems.
