a few things that might help you avoid excessive frustration or irritation with people not realizing the magnitude of your problem in your inability to solve:

Yes I realize, there are many factors that make people act the way they do. That being said, the first and most important thing you can do to help yourself is "keep calm don't panic" I may not know the quickest way to success but the quickest way to failure is simply to give up!

Things that will help you calm down when people don't reply to your post right away:

The people on this forum don't work for you, try to be patient.

Read, read, read, the more understanding you have about what you're working on the better prepared you are to explain to someone who actually might be able to help you. And the more knowledgeable you become the more able you will be to spot "the notorious Internet experts" (time wasters)

Very rarely is it as bad as it seems, everything on a vehicle can be repaired, the question you have to ask is it affordable to do so? Sometimes the answer is yes sometimes the answers no. Two very quick tests will tell you how much it's worth fixing compression test and testing for blown head gasket. If you're not familiar with the automobile history sometimes it pays to do this first. You may decide it's not cost-effective to fix vehicle right now if it requires basically a long block engine!

The search tool is your friend, you don't always have to have the exact make and model or year as long as it's relatively close, when looking up information just to give you a direction. For instance "jeeps are prone to crankshaft position sensors issues " and "apparently they prefer champion plugs"

Learn to gather information through proper diagnostic technique sometimes the more specific you are, the quicker someone can help you.

What if they never get to you, and you fix your problem before they do,...... :-).... :-(.... And your problem is:huh: ?
this site is a pretty good resource put together by knowledgeable people,, take advantage of that.

Sometimes it's better we find the answer instead of having the answer given to us because it establishes more synaptic connections in our brain and that help us remember and it becomes more beneficial in the future especially if it ever happens again.

However sometimes we hit a wall, it was once said "their strength in a multitude of counsel"sometimes it's worth getting a second opinion try not to tell the people you ask, what the problem is, let them tell you it's possible you overlooked something. The definition of insanity, is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Try not to become fixated.

Hopefully this helps, keep moving forward, don't panic, don't give up and you will get where you need to be,, it's not luck when you finish, often it's patient persistence!
