No matter what you believe in, I think everyone can agree there is a truth out there. Why we're here, and where we are going, etc. I have faith and belief, but I'm not afraid to admit I have no idea what that truth is.
Perhaps someone like Jesus was trying to teach that everyone could find this truth while they're still on earth. Maybe we aren't looking far enough inside of ourselves to find it? Imagine if you found the truth, and could comprehend it while still alive. Would you become like Christ and ascend?
