Hello all,the situation is tricky because this car is not your regualr diag, its a 1992 honda civic eg hatchback with 2008 acura tsx k24 engine swap using a hondata piggyback programable ecu from 2004 acura rsx and wire harness from 2003 honda civic ep3.i had to download 3 different fsm manuals for this one car.the car is owned by a neighbor whos a good kid that got into some trouble and now got into car hobbies to stay out of trouble so I want to help him out.

scanning the data there is no activity for fuel trims or the o2 sensors, both stay at 0v/0%.are the o2 sensors the only input for fuel trims or what else could cause fuel trims to not work at all?I suspect the o2 sensors are not wired up properly but i cant look at the car till next weekend so im scouting for information.

so what else besides o2 sensor could make zero activity for fuel trims?I will try to force them rich with propane and see if anything changes but again i cant see the car till this next weekend and want a direction,Thanks everyone

The fuel trims could be tuned out of the picture.
Most of the "race cars" I see with stand alone fuel management don't use fuel trim.
The fuel map is written and whatever cell it's in is how much fuel it's getting.
O2 and AFR sensors are for informational purposes to manually modify the fuel map if there is a cell that is too lean or too rich.
Does it display loop Status, or fuel system status?
If it's always in OL (open loop) it's never going to use fuel trim.

"fuel trims can be tuned out of the picture"

You're right, turned out the hondata pcm gives the option of using o2 sensors or not,o2 sensors were "disabled" when we hooked it up to laptop.

thanks for your help!

also off topic but i want to share what a beast of a ecu this is,this guy was jumpering sensor wires all over with no idea what they went to/had tps wires bare that were literally grounding on the hood/was shorting wires to ground/had valve cover ground missing and still the ecu was undamaged?!

i seen a bmw fry drivers for all coils just from missing a ground wire,I just wanted to share this because it is really impressive how protected these honda ecu are,the ecu was from a acura rsx 2004 or 06
