no fuel trim data/o2 data on scan tool from tricky honda
Hello all,the situation is tricky because this car is not your regualr diag,its a 1992 honda civic eg hatchback with 2008 acura tsx k24 engine swap using a hondata piggyback programable ecu from 2004 acura rsx and wire harness from 2003 honda civic ep3.i had to download 3 different fsm manuals for this one car.the car is owned by a neighbor whos a good kid that got into some trouble and now got into car hobbies to stay out of trouble so I want to help him out.
scanning the data there is no activity for fuel trims or the o2 sensors,both stay at 0v/0%.are the o2 sensors the only input for fuel trims or what else could cause fuel trims to not work at all?I suspect the o2 sensors are not wired up properly but i cant look at the car till next weekend so im scouting for information.
so what else besides o2 sensor could make zero activity for fuel trims?I will try to force them rich with propane and see if anything changes but again i cant see the car till this next weekend and want a direction,Thanks everyone
