Got one kicking my ass, 2011 ford ranger 2.3l, has an intermittent loss of engine power (happens maybe once every 5 miles) that lasts for maybe 1-2 seconds. It feels as if the injectors shut off for that short amount of time, there is no warning before it happens, it just feels like you let off the accelerator, rpms gradually drop to around 800 and then acceleration resumes and all is okay until it happens again. Issue is also present at idle but it feels like a brief stumble of the engine. There are no codes. Only thing I thought of checking was fuel pressure and its steady at 60psi even when the issue occurs. Cleaned MAF sensor also. Tried recording live data to catch the anything abnormal but the issue is too brief for the scan tool to catch. My next move will probably be to start scoping sensors like the cam, crank, maf, etc. Anyone seen this issue before?

Doesn't really matter where you start your diagnosis. The scope is your best friend here.
You can go through and monitor all the main input sensors for sure to see what is being "lost" momentarily. Then determine the "why".
Also, check the Powers and Grounds on the PCM when this is happening for dropouts too.
As long as this symptom is easily repeatable, it will be quicker to catch.
This is where I wish I owned an 8 channel scope, it would be a lot quicker.
The scope will show you the bad data the PCM doesn't like.

Another thing I've noticed, is that when I unplugged the MAF to see if the issue went away the check engine light did not come on and no codes popped up, this seems strange. Could this indicate a faulty computer?

That's interesting.
Does the engine light illuminate with the key on? at startup.
Is the PCM original? A scan tool will be able to see if the MIL is on or off state.
When the MAF was unplugged the condition still occurred?

Engine light illuminates at key on, the pcm seems to be original. I drove it for 15 miles without the MAF and the issue did not occur. I plugged it back in and drove it for another 15 miles and issue still did not occur so the unplug it test was inconclusive.
