2008 Mercedes clk350 instrument cluster...no communication code

The body shop left my car sit and battery died. Now my instrument cluster looks like a christmas tree. Specifically, everything works in the car which makes it difficult to pin point a problem, but my temp gauge is stuck on high at all times and I get the red warning light that the car is overheating...which it is not Also, no speedo nor tach....which is ok for the moment, but with the red warning light my convertible top and cruise control cannot function.

Not certain if relays or sensors....but the mystery is that everything works.

Any guidance would be appreciated
