Missfires Ford C-max was created by XsleepercellX
2013 Ford C-Max Energi hybrid 2.0. Customer replaced plugs and coils himself, proper OEM motorcraft plugs and coils were used and installed correctly. Shakes and misses as soon as engine starts. Codes are p0300 p0303 p0304 p0316 and a p219a (A/F imbalance b1). Over 200 plus misses in cyl 4, cyl 3 has just over 70 and the other two cylinders are less than 5. Live data cyl 4 counts steadily the other three are very random. Just looking for suggestions/direction. Thanks in advance.

Were coils & plugs changed because of the misfire or did it start afterwards?

You'll have to determine whether it's a mechanical issue, fuel delivery or spark. Does anything in the scan live data stand out, fuel trims maybe?

You may want to start with a relative compression test , if possible with an ignition reference because of the P0316 code. Can you scope cam/crank sensors? Does the code come back immediately on restart when erased?

Work your way from there, if necessary check for injector pulse, cylinder leakage etc and report test results.

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.
