Awesome video Paul, I am fighting with a washer pump issue on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 and it is controlled by the fcm which receives input from the switch and instrument cluster through a PCI bus circuit. My issue is the pump turns on for a quick second and then shuts off and I am not sure what voltage the fcm is supposed to receive on the pci bus circuit in order to turn on the pump. Can you shine light on how this system is suppose to work? Thank you
The PCI Bus is a communication network. The cluster will send messages to the FCM to turn the pump on and off. Since the pump does work momentarily, and you haven't mentioning anything else acting up, communication is probably OK.
If you've got a scan tool have a look at live data in the cluster and FCM for washer related PIDs. Might also be a related code set in one of the modules.
