05 cadillac cts 2.8l intermittent no comm with ecm after sitting 2 new ecms
Hey scannerdanner gurus. Iv got a good one. Need some help, iv got a cadillac that won't crank, no engine light, no comm with only the ecm. I can re establish comm and get it started by removing the battery cable 6 to 7 times and it comes to life car runs great no codes, let it sit for about an hour though and same thing. Iv back probed the 4 ecm power circuits during the no comm and all are 12 volts roughly and the only grounds are case grounds which read .02 volts when measuring with a meter during the no comm. Iv winged 2 reman ecms from the dealer new ones aren't available. Iv unplugged a few of the 5 volt reference components with no luck so far. Anyone seen this before? Are both these reman ecms junk??
