Hello. I have a 07 ford crown victoria police with 4.6 liter. I have a p0642 sensor ref voltage (a )circuit low fault. I watched some vids and cant afford the book(yet but will get). I'm needing to know pretty much everything. Start with what?. And if you suggest anything, like a wiring diagram can you give suggestions how to find 1. Thanks and this poor man on disability appreciates any help.

From one disabled person to another, I understand your situation.
Do you have any testing equipment, ie; multimeter, test light? If not other than checking for a blown fuse there is not much you can do yourself.
Free wiring diagrams are not something you will find and paying for one does no good unless you understand electrical systems.
Your problem could be from a blown fuse to a shorted sensor to wiring problems. I suspect your car is running poorly if even running at all as the 5v reference circuit is critical to engine performance.
I'll give you advice based on what equipment you have. Let me know.

Being wrong doesn't bother me, it's being right and not understanding why that does

1. Visual inspection
2. Unplug sensors
3. Check for shorted wires
4. Start chopping wires at the PCM lol.
