2006 Chevrolet G3500 van 6.0L... CRAZY SECONDARY WAVEFORMS was created by Theshorefix
I'm currently working on a 2006 G3500 with a 6.0L. Symptoms include bank 1 & bank 2 lean DTC's... low power under a load but idles okay. It runs like it can't breath... fuel pressure is good, injector balance test is good, and yes even under a load fuel pressure doesn't drop. I have done in cylinder pressure analysis and all seems well, relative compression test is good, manifold pressure signals I can't make anything out of but not sure if my tool works right, new to the pressure transducers but have been doing in cylinder tests for about a year. I caught a glitch on live data the other day where IAT temp was 400.7 and engine coolant temp was 395.2 MAF sensor pid was 0 rpm pid was 0 and it would flicker from those readings to actual values that make sense, then I checked secondary ignition voltage for a sync and saw this Crazy signal I can't explain. You can there is no initial spike and a high nose showing the lean condition. But I'm starting to think I have weak spark caused by some sort of ecm problem. My main reason for this post is to see if anyone might be able to see something more then me in this crazy signal. Any and all help and advise is greatly appreciated.

I'm not a secondary guru, but I wonder if there's a problem with the scope setting.
If you imagine a great big spike at the beginning of each waveform, they would be pretty typical secondary patterns. It's like somehow the scope only captured the burn line.
Have you checked for restricted exhaust? Not because I see anything in the patterns you have there, but because it matches your description of the symptoms.

I saw a similar waveform awhile back, I took me some time but I found it... unfortunately, I cannot post it, there seems to be something wrong with the website. Cannot use attachments or editor.

Being wrong doesn't bother me, it's being right and not understanding why that does

Looks like the scope issue. Make sure you haven't a high frequency filter turned on.
