Does anyone know if there’s a way to bench test the immobilizer ring that goes around the key cylinder? Or does it have to be connected to the vehicle?

The antenna ring is just an inductive coil. You can check for continuity/open circuit at the coil terminals. This could be on the circuit board or at the connecter. Beyond that you can check out the inductance of the coil with a LCR meter like that one:

I’m using one of them tools you place around the lock cylinder and it’s supposed to flash an led but it’s not. I performed the dodge troubleshooting the flow chart lead me to the immobilizer ring replacement. Has you unplug the key ring jump the terminals and look for a specific code to generate it did. I’ll check the resistance of the antenna and let you know what it is
