Help us help you. By posting the year, make, model and engine near the beginning of your help request, followed by the symptoms (no start, high idle, misfire etc.) Along with any prevalent Diagnostic Trouble Codes, aka DTCs, other forum members will be able to help you get to a solution more quickly and easily!
My customer needed his pickup, so I didn't get any farther with it. He is going to let me know if anything noticeable changes. He wants to get through feeding season with it and then I can have it back. I should have mentioned, may or may not make a difference, this pickup is not in ideal conditions. It has a bale bed on it that probably weighs 1000 lbs. or maybe a little more. He feeds round bales with it so it's a lot of idling around in the cold and it doesn't get run out on the highway very often. I told him I wouldn't charge him for any diagnostics, and haven't to this point, to encourage him to bring it back. Education is never free. Hopefully I'll see it back soon and I'll post what I find. In the meantime, I'm going to try to learn these engines better.
