Vehicle: 2012 Lincoln Navigator 5.4L 4wd

Issue: Came in with p0394 Bank 2 cam sensor circuit and p0369 bank 1 sensor circuit, complaint of stalling. During inspection found that vehicle stalls when fully cold and typically when engaging drive or reverse. The stall is sudden without sputtering or hesitation. Sometimes its a brief cutout/hickup and it catches before it stalls.

Tests: We verified that the VVT system is not having any issues and timing is correct at all times even when stalling. Using a lab scope we can see that the injector will fire followed by same injector firing way before it is supposed to. The initial injector firing is at the correct time, then there will be an extra firing (out of time), sometimes up to three in a row, this coincides with the hiccup. At the same time the ignition coils will stop firing, causing the hiccup/stall. During this event the cam and crank signals measured at the PCM are perfect. This also happens with both the cam sensor and solenoids unplugged.
