Anyone ever heard of an injector balance test going all the way to 0 PSI consistently on all of the injectors in the vehicle? On a 2001 6 cylinder Nissan Frontier with a supercharger, I hooked up my little injector balance timer tool which I have used several times before on other vehicles. Every time before, the ending PSI was a few PSI lower than the beginning PSI. On this Frontier, however, the beginning PSI was 32 and the ending PSI went all the way down to 0 consistently on all 6 injectors. Does that sound normal?

Are you sure this is a sequential injection system and not multiport? Have a look at the WD...

Anyhow, the test is pretty useless even it was sequential injection unless you would measure the time it takes for each injector to hit zero psi.

Ah, thanks. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not sure if it is sequential or multiport. The wiring diagrams on this Nissan are confusing to me, not to mention I'm no expert to begin with. My timer tool does have 3 time settings for pulse duration, and I had it set on the middle setting, which I think is a couple of seconds. What is the WD? Thanks again for your reply.

32psi (about 2.25 bar) seems way way too low for a supercharged engine.
