Hello I have had a crank sensor code P0335 show up. I have removed the sensor and test the resistance between ground and signal and get around 20M ohms. Does this sound correct as I think it seems very high ?
Cheers
seems high to me. seems open circuit. no help on alldata or identifx. if you verify wiring is okay. i THINK, you can plug the sensor up, and run a metal objector across the sensor rapidly and monitor scan data and see if rpm is picked up.
Thanks for your reply I have tried what you said and it seems to be dropping the volts when a metal object is past across it. I'm not confident to replace it as over here its around $160, it could be a intermittent fault as the car runs fine once started but has a hard time starting and sometimes goes into limp mode if a restart it a few times it comes right. But when it trying to star it does sound like the timing is off. Strange as once running it goes perfect.
