I have a 2004 Kia Amanti with codes PO171 and PO175 >
I have smoke the car for vac leaks none . I have cleaned the MAF sensor . Long and short term fuel trims are high rev car up remained high no vacuum problem. I have not checked my fuel pressures as yet waiting on the fuel rail adapter to come from Tilman tools in CA. I disconnected the MAF and the idle smoothed out plug it back and rough again. I have plenty of power in car just idle rough and shakes at idle not at high speed. I am going to disconnect O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 and the same for bank 2 sensor 1 and check sensors..I have no vacuum leaks I even disconnected the brake booster to check that for vacuum leak. I have checked the operation of purge valve it is holding vacuum and letting go of it on signal. Can anyone help me out as to where I should look next. CptT
So, lean on one side, rich on the other, you could swap 02 sensors side to side, do codes follow or stay?or is there a exhaust leak on bank 1?that would keep it lean, 171 or watch sensor 2's and see which one agrees with sensor 1
