Aloha, Call me Braddah.
I have a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander GT, V6 engine.
Problem is it cranks, has spark, is getting fuel (never check fuel pressure because I can smell the fuel after each try)
I am not getting any trouble codes (OBD) when I turn on the Key there is no check engine lite at all, and the RPM gauge does not move when cranking. I saw on one YouTube video when there is no response on the tac that the cam sensor was bad. I replaced it and there was no change. Came across the Scanner Danner video's and got his online book. I am still researching his book. looking for a direct line to trouble shoot this problem. Thanks, in advance for any directions on this task.
I don't own or have a scanner, just a OBD tester. I do have a code on the seat belt but northing relating to the engine not starting.
I am not sure how to get around this platform.
just to let you guys know the car finally started, I didn't do anything except hand choked it when it sounded like it wanted to start. (have no idea why that worked) It is running smooth now. still troubled that it started? But I guess I'll just have to wait and see if the problem returns. Still not getting the check engine icon to lite up with the key on or any other time?????
