Steven here in South Carolina. I appreciate any & all advice on solving the issue with my Trk. It has been a workhorse for 2 yrs.
Have had no issues until just recently the engine died. There was absolutely no indication for the engine to stop working. The symptoms were like it was starving for fuel, no backfiring and a slow, rough spitting & sputtering until it would not start. It had about a second or two where you think it might start but no success. Towed home & after sitting over night, it starts, warms up, dies again with same symptoms. Seems to starve for fuel. Replaced in-tank electric pump, in-line filter & pump relay. Bought Ford Code Reader & get code 121 & 211 during KOEO. (Key on, Engine off) closed throttle voltage +/- & PIP.
Other reads of similar owners having this issue is all over the board- oxygen sensors & stater in distributor.
Trk ran great, cold day or hot. Towed 8 trips with loaded 12’ uhaul; no issues.
Any suggestions or next steps are appreciate. If the Ford Code Reader is accurate, I have no idea to trace down a throttle voltage issue or PIP issue.

Narrow it down, fuel or spark, which is it, 211 sounds like faulty distributor, stator, use a spare spark plug, insert in a plug wire and lay on metal surface, crank it when it fails to start, and watch for spark

Thanks- I will check spark on plug.
The rail for injectors had pressure on the shredder valve.
Every heard of a catalytic converter killing an engine like a potato in the exhaust pipe? Causing back pressure to shut down engine?

Sure, that can happen. Disconnect the exhaust or pull an O2 to see if that help.
Better, if you have a scope and in-cylinder transducer, look at pretty during exhaust stoke.
