I’m working on a 2007 Ford Edge with a misfire on cylinder #2. I have replaced coil, injector and all plugs. The coil on that cylinder was melted when I removed it. Vehicle still shows a misfire on Cylinder 2

The melted coil is a very good clue.
Have you checked for coil control from the PCM?
