Codes ; p1160-Post catalyst oxygen sensor heater bank 2, Implausible signal condition,
PO 301- #1 missfire, PO 303-# 3 missfire, PO # 6 missfire.
Has been sitting for over 6 years. Came to somewhat hard stop, no damage, died, restarted, wouldn't run right afterwards. Was tried to figure out by owner, could,'t. Towed to me. Many codes to start, temp sensors, x 2 , miss fire on 1,3 and occasional 6. Found 1 and 3 plug wires backward, changed, no effect. Check plugs, individual thought he had changed, couldn't remember, found all but one was original. Replaced all. Checked individual coils for fire, all seemed functional. Tried swapping around, same outcome. Checked front, 1,3,5 cylinder injector, removed, activated, pressurized, all working. Changed 5 with 3, no change in firing. Checked pulse after initial start up 1 and 3 firing then fade away. Did a compression check on all cylinders. #1 190, #3 80, #5 80, #2 210, #4 190, #6 120. There is a definite miss as 1 and 3 not firing. Can hear it from the exhaust and occasional burp back through the intake if instant acceleration is applied.
All I have is a OB2 scanner.. #6 missfires every once in awhile. It had codes for temp earlier but repaired the chewed wires to sensors. It will start, but barely run when cold. Even when I check injector pulse on 1 and 3 after initial restart they are pulsing but when I pull the plug wire while they are still active, it doesn't change engine rpm, no change. I went back and cleared codes again, so far only the 1 and 3 showing missfires. The 1160 codes went away, for the time being. One of the questions I have is why is #1 not firing when it has the best compression for that bank, where as #5 has the lowest yet when I pull it's plug wire it is a definite drop engine rpm? Leaning on the cylinders with low compression as having valve train issues. Yet here we are again, #5 with a low compression is still contributing. #1 being the strongest on this bank yet doesn't contribution even when a restart is obtained with an injector pulse. Missing a part of the puzzle here........I did a wet test on 1 and 3, both only came up about 20 psi....Someone, at some time through the past has had things apart on this, for the most part, it is all here and functional, less the (2) cylinders missfiring.

Have you changed the oil yet?might have some grungy, varnished valve guides, might explain the burp in the intake, and what about inspecting the O2 heater wires, pinched, burnt, shorted?

Haven't changed the oil yet. The catalyst code went away. We put in some injector sea foam and have been running this. Had a half a tank when installed, now down to a quarter of a tank. It is actually starting to start and run on it's own. Thinking the gas was stale. I usually will start, warm up, block the throttle open to around 1500 and let it run. Just having a hard rapping head around #1 cylinder with such good compression not wanting to fire due to lack of injector pulse.

Maf was not contributing well, change, better response, still (2) cylinders down. PO1160 back up and 1470 and 1472 up when mashing throttle. Going after 1160 post catalyst nest. The 1470 and 72 are VIS throttle related probably due to 1160 through ecu.
