He there, so I'm having problems with this Hummer H2 that keeps getting code P037 and P0332 back, but only at 60 mph.

2006 Hummer H2 6.0 V8 LQ4 engine
75.000 miles

Things done to the car:
- New spark plugs, coils and spark plug wires.
- Changed the knock sensors under the intake manifold and sealed with silicone the new ones to keep water and moisture out.
- Cleaned and tested fuel inyectors.

Freeze frames are:
P0327 - Low Frecuency Knock Sensor Signal Bank 1

Engine Load = 18.82%
Colant Temperature = 203°F
Closed Loop
Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 = 6.25%
Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = 4.69%
Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 = 6.25%
Long term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = 6.25%
Vehicule Speed = 59.65 MPH
MAF Airflow = 14.63 grams/second
MAP Sensor = 3.62 Psi
MAP Sensor Voltage = 0.79
Engine Speed = 1.719 RPM

P0332 - Low Frecuency Knock Sensor Signal Bank 2

Engine Load = 18.43%
Colant Temperature = 201.2°F
Closed Loop
Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 = 7.03%
Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = 5.47%
Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 = 7.81%
Long term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = 6.25%
Vehicule Speed = 60.28 MPH
MAF Airflow = 14.18 grams/second
MAP Sensor = 3.62 Psi
MAP Sensor Voltage = 0.79
Engine Speed = 1.717 RPM

when cruising upper oxygen sensors sensors generate the right signal, rear ones seem to have more activity than usual, specially Bank 2 rear sensor that can get as los as 0.250 Volts.

With the Car on Parking I get knock count on cylinder 3 a value of 2 to 4 nocks, you can feel the small rattle at idle. When you put the car on D it runs smooth, also during normal city driving and crusing until it hits 60 mph. Still the check engine light does not get on always at 60 mph.

Anyways any help is much aprecciated.
Thanks

Does mode 6 data show any relevant information related to the perceived misfire?
In any a case, a crank relearn is recommandable. Compare the resistance of the sensors themselves to specs and check the related wiring.

You could induce a misfire and check with a multimeter in AC volts setting wether the resulting signal is ok or not and you can compare measurements taken at the sensor and the at the harness side of the pcm

An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.

I went down this road recently. :silly:

Installed a Dorman kit (two sensors, one sub-harness), came back a week later with knock sensor codes. Had to warranty them out with ACDelco.

It's my understanding that, while the aftermarket sensors DO generate a signal, they don't generate a high enough amplitude to make the PCM happy. Resistance and a hammer tap test will pass.

The owner did bought the kit with the cables and 2 sensors, almost sure its the doorman one. I will check sensors and the info with mode 6 when i see the car this week. Thanks
