It’s a 2013 Ford Focus SE 2.0 non turbo, automatic trans. At a dead stop upon acceleration midway through 1st gear it shakes/shudders then goes away after about 10 mph or once in second gear… I did a complete code scan and nothing. Just looking for some direction. It does vibrate at idle quite a bit, but I don’t want to throw engine mounts at it, it also has a rattle that I believe to be the cat, I need to get it on a lift and currently don’t have one available… Any ideas or direction would be great, thanks in advance.
Thanks for your reply, any way you could elaborate just a bit? What causes this and what’s the fix? Also, could you go into how it was diagnosed? If not no worries, I just really like knowing as much as I can about issues I run into, thanks in advance.
Paul just put out a video on TCC shudder. I'm not sure it's something that can be conclusively diagnosed?? Seems like it's more elimination of other variables and TCC shudder is what you're left with.
Yes it was elimination,3rd attempt at the problem, everything was done with the tranny in the vehicle, so it came down to t.c., sadly I traded it, the virus was coming on, I needed some space from all the people I was meeting, lol
