Morning all,
This is question is more of a confirming I went the right direction. Just a DYI person with some technical college courses. (There is a bit of a story, but that's a different day thing.) This code came on when the engine was operating temperature, using a test lighting place of noid light with t pins. The driver light the light, ohmed the injector and was not in spec with my little Craftsman DMM manual range selection. Tested a know good and was in spec for the engine temperature. About 15 Ohms I think, at cold both the known good and the bad when cold was about 11 some Ohms. So my gut says failing injector on the electric coil side. So I have bought injector to replace the bad and going to do all 6. Over 180k mileage, procedure is the same for all and at the mileage just makes sense to me.

So, to be clear, your question was if you followed a good diagnostic procedure? I'd say so.
Found the failed component, proved out the rest of the circuit. Sounds solid to me!
For whatever it's worth, the code set criteria for P0201 (and most port fuel injected CDJR products) is kinda fun:
It's (supposedly) watching the inductive kick of the injector. :lol: Pretty clever monitoring strategy, IMO. If you have a scope, some before and after shots of the bad injector might be interesting, just to see what the PCM is seeing. If you don't have a scope, NDB. Doesn't change your call.

Does this actually mean a true open condition is not monitored by the comprehensive component monitor at KOEO??

Picture of injector one tip. Looks like burnt varnish or something. Minus one the rest are original from 07. And the one I am not sure of the manufacturer.
Have six new OEMs to put in, the price difference between my Napa for the Bosh which is the OEM maker and from the Chrysler dealership was small. For this year and model engine. Think I'm going to do the PCV valve as well. On the 07 Dakota 3.7 it's in a weird spot on the back left head bolted in.

Pretty! Did this truck sit for awhile? Any additives in the fuel?
Let us know how the injector replacement goes.
Careful with the PCV valve while you're in there. I seem to remember that the PCV hoses/pipes get super brittle and crack if you look at them the wrong way...

Nope my daily driver. Fuel wise just gas from Sunoco regular 87. The hoses do seem pretty flexible for the age. Have some new injector clips coming in then back together and she should fire up no problem.Pretty! Did this truck sit for awhile?

Well did jinx it, the PVC pipe i hadnt even touched yet broke. Must have looked at it wrong. Parts on order from Mopar. However she started and sounds like she is running fine, even with the broken PVC tube. Was showing a P057 I believe, higher then normal idle? But I have that broken pipe so I am not that worried about it right now. After the pipe is fixed and I still have that then I'll be worried.
