During testing noticed live data has glitch but only on scan tool. Back probed powers grounds and 5v ref with scope looks good. Very odd voltage fluctuates about 1v not sure if i will be able to upload data. I am new to this type of work. About ready to call pcm. THANKS IN ADVANCE BRAD

Have you scoped EGR position signal and EGR sensor ground yet?

Thanks Matt EGR Position and sensor ground look good. Found tsb on this p1404 code. Looks like new flash could fix this problem. Still do not like how voltage on data fluctuates about 1v I will have to work on posting Attachments on here. THANKS AGAIN BRAD

Had never see this before. tsb new program fixed the 1v voltage fluctuation on the egr signal circuit and p1404 did not return. THANKS MATT FOR YOUR HELP
