On a local discussion forum someone posted this picture of the intake of a VW Polo that
cranks but won't fire. When he removed the throttle body he found this orange goo in the intake.
Any ideas where it may come from?
My current theory is that it is condensation mixed with oil/fuel additives from the breather hose.
Getting involved in discussions because I have a lot to learn still.
Looks like coolant rather than plain condensation emulsion, the antifreeze coolant German cars have from the factory has been known to breakdown and form chocolate like goo in the cooling system.
