How to test a fuel injector (open winding) Nissan
Hi
I have a Hyundai 2003 H1 2.4L Petrol.
Fuel injector has 2 wires (Feed and Control)
When ignition is At ON position Feed wire has 12.4 volts and Control wire has 0.03 volts.
When I start the car (rough idle but when it gets hot it works better) Feed wire has 12.4 volts and Control wire has 0.34 volts.
Test light is flickering.
I test the fuel injector's resistance and it's good 15.3 (manufacturer says 13 to 17 ohms)

Temperature can have a big effect on injectors and also coils. As the injector wams up the coil windings can get an open or a short or sometimes a sticking pintle will free off.
Paul did a good video where he gets a bad injector working by cooling it with snow.
I'll search it out and post a link.

I gotcha Andy, that's exactly the video I had in mind.

From my experience and what I have learned, a continuity test is only good if the windings is fully broken, meaning no continuity indicating a complete open. It's the partial opens that bite you in the A**.
I suggest an injector balance test. It will give you better results, low flow or no flow.

back probe the power wire with key on should see battery power. then back probe control wire should see battery voltage indicating the coil is intact and not open. have you used a noid light yet?

Thank you all for your answers.
It turned out to be an open coil. Power wire had battery voltage and Control wire had 0.34 volts
I replaced the coils and it fixed.
