Hi guys hopefully someone on here familiar with Nissan stock ecu mid to late 90's with Consul 14 pin OBD1

BACKGROUND

So this van was condemed for the scrap heap due to running issues. Mr part changer previous owner got some no name injectors for the van and also had a "mechanic" friend mes around with the dizzy. The original symptom for the previous owner was engine cut out and wwould not run for longer than 5 minutes. Part changer also put a new fuel filter on as well.

I got vehicle running a bit better with change of plugs, maf clean and rotation of dizzy but still very down on power but it was good enough to drive 20 miles to get the van to my home.

WORK DONE SO FAR

Timed cams correctly (HG been done in the past but whoever done that didnt time it correctly)
Set valve clearances
Set IGN timing by taking to 1600rpm ECU command 32 deg advance and timing with light
Sorted blocked cooling system due to "mechanic in a bottle" by previous owner
Due to above IAVC was screwed right down to get idle down to 850 as wax stat was not getting water flow this is now corrected
Changed leads as two were sparking from where they shouldnt.
New narrow band as old one was not working properly (confirmed off the vehicle)
Compression test within tolerance
Replaced knock sensor as old one was melted and causing a knock sensor fault (replaced with used one from another vehicle that was a Nissan)

PERCEIVED ISSUE

Seem to be still be down on power, when driving around on light throttle everything seems ok but ask for a bit more and it feels flat. I have a log and the timing commanded was less than 10 degree and sometimes low single figures. This was with a wideband as the o2 sensor and set to mode 4 (AEM scaled 0-1v). During a test drive the wideband suddenly went ultra lean (off the scale) but could still maintain 60mph nd driveability was not too bad and got to my destination. I cleaned the MAF and wideband started working again, albeit sometimes lean in the 16's when accelerating lightly.

Parts waiting to fit

Bosch universal Narrowband
New Bosch knock sensor 0 261 231 188 (if compatible)

Parts suspect
MAF given cleaning that resulted in my wideband working again and the initial improvement before I purchased the car. This MAF is a unique part number to the van so not sure what to do here. If I rev the engine I only get around 2.4volts with no load, in the log of almost WOT I get 4volts for the same revs?? Also I notice that the EGT voltage reported in below software says 5volts need to have a poke around to see if we even have an EGT.

Diagnostics available OBD SCAN TECH NISSAN and ECU Talk

Any help very much appreciated and all questions will be answered and updates given :-)

log file of almost WOT but this was with the WB in place and shows the timing being very retarded
