Hi I have a p0073 which is a control module communication bus A code. Also there is a p2544 which is a torque management request input signal A.  The speedo drops out for a second and goes to normal.  What can this be.

Are you sure you didn't mean U0073?

What can this be? All kinds of stuff. :silly: It'd depend heavily on which module set the U0073, as that code isn't specific to a module, but can be set by almost any module as a result of communication loss. Knowing which module set the U0073 will give you a better idea on where to start testing.

P2544 is more specific, and relates to messages between the ECM and TCM only.

What kind of scanner/test equipment do you have available? I'd start with a visual inspection of the ECM and TCM harnesses, as well as the Headlamp Control Module harness if this Acadia has one. Has the EBCM been unplugged recently? Make sure the EBCM connector is fully seated, and the latch is locked in.
