So I just have a question about scope set up for checking a/c role ripple at the B+ post of the alternator. Should I be using peak detect? It seems that most alternators look a lot worse with peak detect on and I feel that if an alternator was bad enough to cause a drive ability fault that I should be able to see it fail without peak detect on. Just curious about what the proper scope settings should be. Thanks
