march 21, 2022 , still parked , this is my worst nightmare . to add to this write up i want to say ,i remember getting to my lacrosse ,when i click the remote to open the door i heard this machinegun noise coming from under the hood . it does this when i reconnect the battery , open the doors or pop the trunk . i have done many test including running a jumper wire to activate the starter ,and , starter works . on the fuel pump issue ,i do hear it run for a couple of seconds when i push the start button . so my starter and fuel pump are good . im sorry im just getting back to this people especially Cheryl who was my only reply .po23f states there is an open in fuel pump secondary system , i wish i knew more about what the secondary system is ? i wish i totally understood and knew how to use the pp3 and my ect-2000 short finder . here is the 2 codes that still come up UO100 AND PO23F .MY #10 FUSE KEEPS BURNING ,ITS ONE OF THE ECM FUSES . this car has really stressed me out ,i really need serious help here ,i wish i could afford to tow it to scanner danner's school so he and his awesome students could tinker with it , it would def be very interesting to say the least LOL ! ANOTHER STRANGE THING IS WHEN I JIGGLE CONNECTION X108 IT MAKES MY LIGHT ON MY SHIFTER STAY ON AND MAKES MY GAS GAUGE EITHER WORK OR STOP WORKING . ANY HELP FROM ANY OR ALL OF YOU INCLUDDING THE TECH gOD SCANNERDANNER IS greatly honored ! thank you all for your help .

I ran into a Buick with similar problem. Seems like your fuel pump control module is burned out on you. It’s located in right rear corner of trunk. Pretty simple to get to. Here is a diagram that may help. You may find a burned connection Almost like when you find a burned connection at a blower motor resistor.

Anyway. You can manually run the pump without the module. Simple jumper the terminals as drawn out on diagram below. Dark Blue to Black( this will complete ground to fuel pump). And then with a second jumper. Go Red/violet to Grey. ( this will supply battery voltage to fuel pump). Do all this with fuel pump control module disconnected okay. This fuel pump module can pull enough amperage to cook a pcm. Keep us posted

Hope this helps

rpd1125 thank you so much for the tip my friend , tomorrow i will bring my battery to auto zone for a full quick , when done , its weird the noise clickicking noise that comes from under hood, when i connect battery ,use remote , open trunk if i leave battery connected ,it will do that clicking every few minutes ! i hear the fuel pump in tank run for a few seconds when i sometimes try to start , i hear the high pitch sound of the secondary high pressure pump at the engine run , thats why all this made no sense ! its almost 2 years its been down , i even have more than 3/4 fuel in tank .when i messed with con -X108 and A and B conn at pcm ,sometimes it makes my gas gauge work again ...I TRIED USING MY OUTDATED ECT 2000 WHICH WAS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE .LOL !!! i cant wait to buy the book and take the class , i been without work all this time due to an injury and i soon expect my surgeries and back to work hopefully before "SHTF" and the end of days and end of world as we know it come upon us ! GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL THE STUDENTS AND PAUL HIMSELF !
RICKYrick i humbly remain ~

SO TWO WHOLE YEARS EXAAACTLY THIS MONTH , COULD THE CLICK RELAY BE BURNING THE FUSE .YOU MAY ASK ,WHAT CAUSES A RELAY TO OPERATE LIKE A MACHINE GUN ? .SET A RELAY FOR TEST , NOW WITH HOT WIRE , BARELY TOUCH IT ON THE CORRECT LEG .YOU MAY TRY SLIDING IT BACK AND FORTH TOUCHING IT SO EVER LIGHTLY . WHEN CONNECTION ISNT SOLID ,IT WILL CAUSE IT TO CLICK OFF AND ON VERY RAPIDLY !so ,you can see a connection thats hanging on by 1 or 2 strands , corrosion ,fretting , etc.etc.etc. maybe a semi loose ground could def do this to a relay right ? this stupid # 10 fuse feed three ign wires to the PCM !!! help me JESUS !!!! LOL

PRODEMAND LABELS THE RELAY THAT SUPPLIES F10UA #10 UNDERHOOD FUSE AS KR-71 NOT KR75 AS ONLINE CHILTON AS DESCRIBED ! SO CAN WE SUSPECT THE CLICKING FAST RAPID ACTION OF RELAY 71 BE A OR ONE OF THE CULPRITS ? if i wasnt a believer , i would def sell my soul to fix this prob lol lmao !!!!! i have never had such a problem with an automobile in my entire life !!!! so most of this time , im looking at fuse ten how it supplies power to three wires to ign on PCM . the fuses doent burn unless KR71 is left in . this relay also feed fuses 8, 9 , 11 and 47 . just a thought ,if it was the relay causing the prob it would burn all the other fuses also .
