Car ran fine before spinning bearings on rods. Removed engine and Trans. Rebuilt engine with JE forged pistons and IE Rods With King Race bearings And ARP main and head bolts. Big turbo ysdayadayada. Everything is installed now. I can’t get shifter out of Park engine fires up but can’t change gears. CEL U0103. Is it possible a ground is to blame????? Or is it the shifter in the car ?????

While the issue at hand isn't directly related to bearings, since you're working with a rebuilt engine and upgraded internals (JE forged pistons, IE rods, King race bearings), ensure that the engine and transmission are both properly aligned and that no Precision bearing or related components are preventing the transmission from engaging properly. If the flywheel, clutch, or other rotating components have been modified, it’s important to check that everything is properly seated and torqued, especially around the crankshaft and transmission mating surfaces. Misalignment here could cause shifting problems.
