I have an 01 Ford Escape 2.0 zetec engine manual transmission Above All Things and I am having problems was getting crank signal then after doing some research watching scannerdanner I did some checking and found I had a grounded crank shaft position sensor wire problem is it is a shielded wire . now how can I repair this without damaging The Shield or should I just run a new wire in place of that one I already have no crank signal receiving but it does crank and no codes on a scan this wiring is in the main harness for the p c m the other wire has continuity with no grounding issues
