If you are asking if you can swap the digital control head into the manual control car, I don't believe so. I think the dial type works by vacuum while the digital type has electronic motors that control everything.

You will not be able to switch from the automatic HVAC control to the manual control without a great deal of work.
There are cables, motors, sensors etc. that are unique to each system.
