P2111 p0222 p0123 2008 dodge grand caravan 3.8. Customer replaced electronic throttle body. No change tps. Koeo no movement or opening when depress pedal. Has good 5 volt ref and ground. What's best way to test for motor control? Know pcm applies power and ground to the motor then reverses polarity to close. Thanks in advance.

Ive seen this many times. It probably didnt even need the Electronic throttle body.

If you have a 2 channel lab scope time to jump down to the accelerator pedal assembly and check your App sensors to make sure they are in perfect sync.

You should have 5 volt reference on pin 1 and 6 the outer pins Pin1=Pink/yellow pin 6=yellow/pink

Check for sensor ground on pins 4 and 3 pin 4=Brown/violet pin 3= Brown/yellow

once you have verified all of the above put your 2 channel lab scope on pin 2 which is App1 signal (Brown/white wire) and your second channel on Pin 2 which is App 2 signal( White/brown wire) with key on engine off you should see perfectly syncroniced swimmers , meaning both respond at the exact same time.

Dont expect them to be same value. both should equal 5 volts at any time....example if app1 is 1,5 volts then app2 should 3.5 volts and so on. Usually APP2 is the one that fails.

you will also see on Live data for the PCM that accelerator pedal will show an AGREE or DISAGREE OR FAULT on the accelerator position. WOuld be curious to see the what the waveform looks like for the APP sensors. But again, you mut verify your 5 volt reference wires and grounds

Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. Scan data shows app sensors working perfect in voltage and percent koeo pressing gas pedal slowly to the floor. It's the tps sensors that don't move while pressing the gas pedal. I'm going to remove boot and press gas pedal and see if butterfly is opening at all if not opening then position sensors will not move. Maybe try bidirectional control of motor. Just briefly looked at it. Did readings at tps 2 at throttle body and no movement stayed at 4 volts. Good 5 volt ref and ground. Ty. Joe

yeah also get a labscope on the control side of the throttle motor and see if control from PCM is coming to motor. You may have an open circuit one of those control wires

You won’t get movement of the throttle body key on engine off on Chrysler. Ya have to use the scan tool under functional tests go to throttle body follower test then it will work
